Workplace Achievement Award

This award recognises organisations that prioritise the creation of a positive workplace culture and environment for their employees, which leads to enhanced productivity, efficiency, and overall wellbeing. The winner will demonstrate excellence in providing a professional, supportive, and inclusive workplace that fosters both job and life satisfaction for their employees.

Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

The workplace community: Describe how initiatives have been successful at creating a positive workplace community including the climate for employee involvement, effective and supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth and recognition.

Social and wellness programmes: Describe the social, sporting, and health programmes in place that contribute to the workplace environment and how they positively impact employees.

Diversity and environmental initiatives: Describe any diversity, environmental, and societal engagement or encouragement programmes in place and how they contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Work/life balance and benefits: Describe any work/life balance and benefits schemes offered to employees and how they contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Physical environment: Describe how the physical environment impacts the workforce, including the technological infrastructure, and describe measures taken to create a comfortable and productive work environment.

Employee satisfaction: Detail employee surveys that have been conducted and the results obtained (including up to four year-on-year comparisons) to indicate that employees are satisfied, committed to, and engaged in their work. Describe any measures taken to address areas for improvement and their impact.

All entrants must submit a document of no more than 5 A4 pages that covers the key criteria set out for the category they are entering.

Before making your submission, please read the terms and conditions and ensure the following:

  • All activities cited in support of your entries must have been on-going within the past 24 months unless stated otherwise in the criteria.
  • The entering party has to have an office in the ROI or NI, and they must operate services into/out of/within the island of Ireland unless stated otherwise in the criteria
  • Make sure you focus on good hard information, backed up by solid facts and figures.
