This award recognises the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) or business aviation services provider that has demonstrated outstanding excellence in supporting business and private aviation operations over the past 12 months. Open to FBOs, executive handling agents, business aviation service providers, and specialist aviation support organisations and will be assessed relative to their scale and context. Entry is by a maximum 5 A4 page submission. Judges will be looking for clear information, supported by evidence and measurable results, that addresses the criteria outlined below.

  • Service Innovation and Business Development: Describe any recent innovations, new service offerings, facility enhancements, digital initiatives, or strategic developments that have strengthened the organisation’s position within the business aviation sector. Explain how these initiatives have improved customer experience, operational capability, or business performance.
  • Customer Excellence and Value Creation: Demonstrate how the organisation delivers exceptional value to customers. This may include service quality, responsiveness, safety standards, operational flexibility, VIP handling, passenger experience, crew support services, or tailored solutions that enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Contribution to Business Growth and Industry Development: Outline the activities, investments, partnerships, or strategic initiatives that have contributed to the growth of the organisation during the past 12 months. Judges will consider evidence of new business wins, market expansion, increased traffic movements, customer retention, workforce development, or contributions to the wider Irish business aviation ecosystem.
  • Operational Excellence and Performance: Describe how the organisation has improved operational performance and service delivery. This may include improvements in efficiency, turnaround times, safety performance, reliability, staff training, sustainability practices, collaboration with airport stakeholders, use of technology, or other measures that have enhanced operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

This may include sustainability initiatives, carbon reduction programmes, investment in greener operations, community engagement, staff development, or contributions to advancing standards within the Irish aviation sector.
