This award recognises the aircraft leasing company that has demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, and leadership in the global aviation sector over the past 12 months. Open to aircraft lessors of all sizes, the award celebrates organisations that have successfully delivered value to airline customers, investors, and industry stakeholders through strategic growth, portfolio management, customer service, and operational excellence. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
- Strategic Innovation and Market Leadership: Describe any significant innovations, strategic initiatives, or business developments introduced during the past 12 months that have strengthened the company’s market position. This may include new leasing products, financing structures, digital transformation initiatives, portfolio management strategies, sustainability-linked transactions, or entry into new markets.
- Customer Value and Relationship Excellence: Demonstrate how the company creates value for airline customers and other stakeholders. Judges will consider factors such as flexibility of leasing solutions, responsiveness to customer requirements, partnership approach, operational support, fleet planning expertise, customer retention, and overall service excellence.
- Business Growth and Portfolio Development: Outline the key activities that have contributed to the company’s growth during the reporting period. This may include fleet expansion, successful acquisitions or disposals, new customer relationships, geographic expansion, innovative financing arrangements, increased market share, or improved financial performance.
- Operational Excellence and Risk Management: Explain how the company has enhanced operational performance and managed risk across its business. Judges will look for evidence of improvements in asset management, lease transition execution, technical oversight, compliance, decision-making processes, portfolio optimisation, risk mitigation, and overall organisational effectiveness.
- Sustainability and Industry Contribution: Describe how the company has contributed to the advancement of sustainable aviation and the wider industry. This may include investment in next-generation aircraft, support for fleet modernisation, ESG initiatives, sustainable finance programmes, industry collaboration, talent development, or contributions to Ireland’s position as a global centre for aircraft leasing.

Judges will be looking for clear, quantifiable results such as portfolio growth, financial performance, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, successful transactions, sustainability outcomes, or other key performance indicators that demonstrate excellence in aircraft leasing.
