Ryanair carried a record 20.7 million passengers in July 2025, up 3% year-on-year, even as French air traffic control strikes forced 680 cancellations. The airline maintained a strong 96% load factor across over 113,000 flights. Strikes on July 3–4 disrupted travel across French airspace, also affecting UK routes. Despite this, Ryanair outperformed peers like easyJet, which suffered greater losses. A separate UK radar fault on July 30 also caused widespread delays.
