My Freighter, the Uzbekistan-based cargo airline, has received ACC3 designation from the UK Department for Transport, enabling it to carry cargo from Tashkent to the UK in compliance with UK aviation security requirements. The approval gives shippers and forwarders in Uzbekistan and the wider region a new direct link to the UK as the carrier expands in Europe.
My Freighter is headquartered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and was established in 2019 as a private cargo airline within Centrum Holding. It has been described as the largest air cargo carrier in Central Asia and took delivery of its ninth Boeing 767-300 freighter in May 2026.
The designation confirms that the carrier meets the security standards required for air cargo entering the UK from a third country.
“Now that we can officially operate in the United Kingdom, we see this as a huge milestone in our journey in connecting East and West,” the airline said. “This security designation allows us to provide our partners an opportunity to secure, compliant cargo from Tashkent to the UK. A new direct link for shippers and forwarders in Uzbekistan and the wider region is another step in growing our network.”
The Tashkent hub is central to that strategy, linking East Asia with Europe. My Freighter has announced twice-weekly scheduled cargo flights between Shanghai and Amsterdam via Tashkent using Boeing 767-300 freighters, and has stated an ambition to grow its total fleet to between 30 and 50 aircraft by the end of 2026.
The UK approval follows several recent developments in the airline’s expansion, including the addition of a Boeing 767-300F freighter to increase cargo capacity and strengthen connections between Europe and Asia through its Tashkent hub.
My Freighter has also expanded its partnership with Baltic Ground Services, awarding the aviation services provider fuel supply and ground handling contracts at Ostrava Airport in the Czech Republic, Tallinn Airport in Estonia and Riga Airport in Latvia.
For the sector, the designation widens the destinations open to a Central Asian freighter operator as it builds a network linking Asia and Europe.
