Luxaviation UK adds Bombardier Challenger 604 to charter fleet at London Stansted

UK business aviation operator Luxaviation UK has added a Bombardier Challenger 604 to its charter fleet at London Stansted Airport, marking the fourth aircraft to join the operator in 2026 as the company continues to expand its managed and charter portfolio.

According to Business Airport International, the Challenger 604 accommodates up to 11 passengers, features a stand-up cabin height of over 6ft (1.8m) and offers a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles (7,408km), enabling non-stop operations on routes such as London to Dubai and London to New York. The aircraft has been fitted with a new exterior design, updated interior and Starlink connectivity.

George Galanopoulos, CEO of Luxaviation UK, said the aircraft's layout maximised space and comfort for larger groups. "The Challenger 604 delivers an exceptional travel experience, whilst comfortably facilitating large groups," he said.

Luxaviation UK is also adding a Bombardier Global Express to its fleet, registered on the Isle of Man registry and based in the Middle East under private ownership. The aircraft will not be available for charter.

Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, said fleet expansion strengthened the company's ability to support aircraft owners with operational oversight and enhanced charter opportunities.

Luxaviation Group is one of Europe's largest business aviation operators, providing aircraft management, charter and ground handling services across a global network. The addition of the Challenger 604 broadens the UK operation's mid-to-large cabin charter offering at Stansted, one of the busiest business aviation gateways in the United Kingdom.

The Bombardier Challenger 600 series remains one of the most widely operated large-cabin business jet families in the world, with the 604 variant in particular valued for its combination of transatlantic range, cabin volume and operating economics.
