daa has applied to Fingal County Council to expand Pier 1 West with a second storey and enhanced passenger facilities, including new boarding gates, seating, and food outlets. The 1,080m² extension is part of a €2.9bn Capital Investment Programme aimed at increasing airport capacity and sustainability. The development supports daa’s broader goal of lifting Dublin Airport’s passenger cap to 40 million annually.
