Aero Asia 2025 highlights China’s low-altitude and general aviation growth

The Aero Asia 2025 show, scheduled for 27–30 November in Zhuhai, is set to provide insights into China’s general aviation sector and its rapidly growing low-altitude economy driven by drones and eVTOL aircraft. Organizers expect 300 exhibitors from 17 countries to engage with approximately 60,000 visitors at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center.

The exhibitor list is dominated by Chinese companies producing light aircraft, drones, engines, and components, alongside international participants from Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. Additional exhibitors from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, the UAE, and the U.S. are anticipated. Notable OEMs confirmed include Cessna, Pilatus, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Cirrus, Garmin, and Airbus Helicopters, while Chinese eVTOL developers such as Aerofugia, AutoFlight, EHang, and Volocopter will also showcase products.

The 2025 event nearly doubles the space of the inaugural 2023 show to 650,000 sq ft, supported by Chinese government bodies and major domestic manufacturers, including Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Aero Engine Corporation of China, and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China.

Visitor profiles span logistics, emergency services, public security, agriculture, marine, energy, flight training, and aerial surveying. Exhibition zones cover business and general aviation, rotorcraft and VTOL, drones, engines, green energy, infrastructure, components, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.

Messe Frankfurt, co-organizer of Aero Asia 2025, also hosts Aero Friedrichshafen in Germany, linking European and Asian aviation markets. The show offers a strategic platform for international OEMs and service providers to explore China’s evolving aviation ecosystem.
