Aer Lingus locks in long-term A330 upgrade partnership

Aer Lingus has signed a multi-year deal with Sabena technics for base maintenance and upgrades on its A330 fleet, cementing a trusted MRO relationship that spans nearly 20 years. Work will take place at Sabena technics’ Bordeaux facility over three consecutive winter seasons from 2026 to 2029.

Beyond aircraft performance, the partnership is strategically aligned with Aer Lingus’ sustainability goals, reducing unnecessary repositioning flights by leveraging proximity and smart scheduling.
